Ms. Betsy Damon, a famous environmental artist from the United States, put up the original idea of constructing the Living Water Garden. The garden was jointly designed by the experts of gardening, environment protection and water works from China, America and Korea. Taking water as its theme and with a natural ecological system, the garden features the functions of environmental protection, water purification and environmental education. Through the treatment of the polluted water from the Fu-Nan Rivers, the garden and its ecological system demonstrates the relationship among water, nature and human beings, aimed at improving more people's awareness of environmental protection.
